    Refund policy

    1. Scope & Applicability
    This policy applies to all skincare product purchases made through our website [skinergybymel.com] and all services (e.g., consultations, treatments) provided by SkinErgy by Mel.

    2. Product Returns & Exchanges

    • We want you to love your skincare products. If you receive a product that is defective, damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will review and, at our discretion, either replace the item or issue a store credit.

    • For Change of Mind / General Dissatisfaction: Because of the hygienic nature of skincare, we do not accept returns or exchanges for products simply because you change your mind or decide you don’t like it after opening/using.

    • All returned products must be unused (except in cases of defect), in original packaging, with labels/seals intact. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the condition is not as specified.

    • Shipping costs for returns due to defect/damage will be reimbursed or covered by us. For returns not due to defect (if accepted), return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

    • Once the return is received and inspected, store credit (or replacement) will be processed within 10 business days. If eligible, refunds to the original payment method may be issued at our discretion.

    3. Final Sale / Non-Returnable Products
    Certain items may be marked as Final Sale (e.g., heavily discounted items, kits, clearance stock). Such items cannot be returned or exchanged.

    4. Service Refunds

    • All services offered by SkinErgy by Mel (consultations, treatments, packages) are non-refundable once booked and/or rendered.

    • If you need to reschedule a session, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

    • In the event of a cancellation by us, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling or receiving store credit toward a future service.

    5. How to Request a Return or Report a Defect

    • We will respond within 48 hours with instructions.

    • Do not send products back until you have received our confirmation and instructions.

    6. Miscellaneous

    • Store credit issued will expire 12 months from the date of issuance.

    • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer law (for example, rights for goods that are faulty or not as described).

    • We may update this policy from time to time — the version posted at checkout and on our website is the current one.
